The librarian is to be appointed by the head of the Magic council. Their duties shall be to protect the Ancient library at all costs, to control the flow of information, all duties that a normal librarian may do, and all duties specifically assigned by the head of the magic council. For compensation, they shall get a room for themselves behind the library and will get access to advanced protection spells, the librarian protection spells.
