all wizards have robes that they are to normally wear while in public. there are certain specifications that each wizard must adhere to. Also, there are different formal and normal robes

student robes are gray with black stripes no button a collar and no hood
most normal robes are black with a black circle button and no hood
most formal robes are gray with a black circle button and no hood
most governmental formal robes are light gray with a black hexagon button and a dark gray hood
energy's normal robe is black with a green circle button and a hood
fire's normal robe is black with a red circle button and a hood
water's normal robe is black with a dark blue circle button and a hood
wind's normal robe is black with a light blue circle button and a hood
ground's normal robe is black with a brown circle button and a hood
the librarian's normal robe is purple with a purple circle button and a hood

the king's normal and formal robe are all pure white with no button, a hood, and possibly a crown
